The “page builder” in Statamic is your primary tool for building and managing pages.
Rather than being limited to pre-set templates, you can construct pages using a library of purpose-built blocks that have been designed specifically for this site.
How it works
The page builder is made up of individual blocks that can be added, removed, and rearranged on any page. Each block serves a specific purpose and has been carefully designed to match the site's unique requirements and visual style.
To build or edit a page, simply drag and drop blocks into your preferred order. This gives you complete control over your page layout without needing any technical knowledge.
You can also hide blocks from outputting on the page with the toggle in the block header. This is very helpful if you have content on a page that only needs to appear sometimes but you don’t want to recreate it every time.
Types of blocks
Content Blocks
These blocks are designed for entering and displaying content directly. Use them when you want to add text, images, calls-to-action, or other static content to your page. Content blocks give you full control over what appears and how it's presented.
Dynamic Blocks
Dynamic blocks automatically display content from elsewhere on the site, such as news articles, projects, or other collection items. Rather than manually entering content, these blocks pull in information that's already been published, keeping your pages up-to-date automatically. They're perfect for showcasing recent work, latest news, or featured content.
During your site build we may add other collections of blocks depending on your site needs.
