We just love the outdoors and Brendyn geeks out on gear. We’ve run a blog called Go Minimal for some time. However, the pervious WordPress version of this site was very outdated and in desparate need of a refresh. Neither Jan or Brendyn particularly enjoyed writing posts in the WordPress editing interface so the content was slightly neglected overtime.
So it was time for a Statamic driven makeover. With a shiny new coat of paint and cool features like light and dark mode, we’re ready to blog more often and share more with the outdoor community. Writing and editing posts is now much easier, faster and more enjoyable.
What we did:
Rebuilt the site on Statamic
Imported all previous content and comments
Designed a modern blog look with light and dark mode
Improved the categorisation of content
