Bold Communication’s objectives

Niki from bold has been a long time copywriting partner of ours and already had an existing website for her copywriting business. However, with Ewan joining the business bringing great technical writing skills into the fold, the business needed a new name and a new look. Bold Communications needed a great looking, modern website design that really shows off their lovely new brand from Kirsten at Revell Design. The types of people looking for technical writing and those looking for creative copywriting help are somewhat different (potentially very different) so it was vital that the content strategy and site design catered equally to both these audiences. Bold also wanted the site to be a platform for their content marketing efforts to draw in more traffic and boost their online presence.

Our strategy

By working with the provided brand and associated colours we were able to create a vibrant modern looking website that positions Bold Communications as a leader in the top of the south copywriting market (Nelson and Blenheim and all places in between).

We provided content strategy advice around the structure of the site that was designed to maximise search engine optimisation results and make it easy for the target audiences to find the services that they are looking for. We also provided some creative direction to find visual elements (the joined rings) that provided the link between the two parts of the business.

We worked hard to make sure that the strong visual design look translates well to mobile devices.
