Avoca is a web development agency proudly based in Nelson, New Zealand

Our home base is in sunny Whakatū / Nelson. We develop websites for clients around the globe and throughout Aotearoa (New Zealand).

We’re focused on freeing up our clients to do more of what they love. That means partnering with them, truly getting to know their business or organisation and designing bespoke solutions.

We’ve also part of an extended creative whānau (family) that includes all the digital and marketing skills you might need.

Let's talk

Small, friendly team

Web developers and website strategy experts

Avoca are passionate about everything we do, including keeping a healthy balance in life. We believe in good, clear communication; great design; having a good time; living well; and getting into the great outdoors.

Avoca loves supporting our community and we’re proud to be based here in Whakatū / Nelson, Aotearoa New Zealand, a truly beautiful part of the world.

We work with clients across New Zealand and around the world. Explore some of our key NZ partnerships with clients:

Why the name Avoca?

Avoca Web Design was started at Castle Hill Village in Canterbury. Half an hour from Arthur’s Pass, Castle Hill is a mountain paradise. The Avoca river flows through the next valley over and it is from here that the name was born. It’s an alpine environment, a place of great natural beauty.

Brendyn moved to Nelson in 2006 and brought the business with him. Jan joined in the fun after also moving into the area. We’ve been kept here by the dual vistas of the mountains and the sea.
