The Theatre Royal’s status as both a busy working theatre and a heritage venue needed to be show cased in the recent redesign. We were delighted to continue our ongoing relationship with the Theatre and their excellent and talented staff that work so hard to facilitate high quality arts shows in the region.
Putting the shows front and centre
We developed a custom show display system that lists all upcoming shows, archives older ones and displays all the information the public need to explore what’s on offer and easily book tickets.
Features were built into the system to make show management easy. These included various show status banners, automatic archiving and marking of past shows as well as a custom interface for theatre staff for entering events.
Showcasing the venue
The history of the venue, photos and video as well as the sponsors and supporters are all featured in the redesign to help visitors understand the story behind the venue.
