Not for profit and charitable organisations are special.
We know the value of the work you do for your clients and in the wider community. We're experienced at creating non profit and charitable websites that work. We know you have special requirements:
- You have multiple stakeholders: your board, funders, clients and refering agencies
- You're competing in a crowded market for funding and attention
- You are hyper focused on providing the best outcomes for your target sector
- You are often constrained by specific requirements and reporting needs of government or grant funding.
- You often rely on volunteers to power the organisation
We want to help you get on with doing good in the world. We'll deliver a platform that you can use to grow online and get the right message to the right people.
We help you address some of your unique website challenges
What's Avoca's experience with not for profit websites?
Put simply, we've been in your shoes. Brendyn, our creative director, worked for Adult Learning Support for over 8 years. Adult Learning support is the Nelson/Tasman branch (Poupou) of Literacy Aotearoa, an organisation that provides life changing literacy and numeracy education for adults. Brendyn has experienced the day to day running of a non profit organisation, the "joy" of writing funding proposals and the challenges of government funding streams and reporting requirements. Jan Blythe, our content lead was also on the board of Adult Learning Support and trained as an adult literacy tutor.
We've built many non profit websites over the years. Avoca Web Design's inside knowledge of the not for profit sector puts us in a great position to really understand your needs and deliver great website results.
We work with systems that support charitable organisations
Some large service providers such as Google have charitable discounts and we can help you set this up.
We also do what we can and all non profit organisations can access discounted website hosting (50% off basic hosting and 25% off our website care plans)
