SeaDragon is New Zealand’s largest refiner and blender of high-quality, internationally-certified Omega fish oils, sourced from fish caught in the clean and pure waters of New Zealand, the South Pacific and other trusted sources. We supply nutraceutical and functional food manufacturers around the world to meet the growing demand for pure, high quality, marine-sourced bioactive compounds.
The team at SeaDragon had an older WordPress website. The WordPress core and plugin were very out of date. It was using a heavily customised WordPress theme, Twenty Fifteen. There was no child theme and so it couldn’t be updated to the latest version of WordPress without breaking the website.
SeaDragon had new, beautiful designed annual report with great images. They wanted that look, feel and colours for their new website.
We set out to create a modern foundation for SeaDragon based on the design of their annual report designed by Simon Owen at Envisage Design. We focused on clean code and fast loading speeds to maximise compatibility with WordPress core design guidelines and ensure they would avoid a repeat of their existing predicament.
We made the web design modern and mobile friendly by default, created clean navigation and to make sure that their clients and potential investors had a great web experience and would feel confident that SeaDragon was a modern, efficient and professional entity.
“…Just the best! I have really appreciated both your patience and proactivity as appropriate to complete this project…Tracey Castleton, Commercial Manager, SeaDragon
…Great communication, I felt you followed up and were quick to ask questions but were very considerate of my time (and other work demands)”
